Steve Schoolar, Ph.D. is a professional wood sculptor / wood carver living in Fort Worth, Tx. His earned doctorate from
Texas A&M is addition to his B.A. from Texas Wesleyan and M.Ed. from Tarleton State. Steve conducts 15-20 wood carving
seminars yearly through out the United States for amatures and professionals. He teaches wood carving at Tarrant County
College one afternoon a week. Also, he is a frequent guest lecturer and speaker in addition to being a judge in wood
sculpture competitions. To date, he has published numerous articles in the prestigious publication of The National Woodcarvers
Association, ChipChats and Woodcarver Online Magazine. He has had numerous radio and television interviews and honored
with an article in the A&M alumni magazine as an outstanding and successful graduate. He has twice been named the
champion relief carver of Texas in addition to winning numerous sculpture competitions across the country. His work is
in private and corporate collections in the USA, Mexico, Europe, and Japan. He has been honored with life membership
